A Choice Nanny® was founded in 1983 by a working mother, Jackie Clark, who saw the need for quality childcare. A Choice Nanny® was a national franchise. In June of 1998, the Franchisees bought out the Franchisor. A Choice Nanny® then became a holding company. Now each office is an independently owned and operated nanny placement service. Our office, the originating office, is still located in Columbia, Maryland. A Choice Nanny® is the oldest, most established nanny referral service in the area. We have been providing quality in home childcare referrals for over 25 years.

A Choice Nanny® has offices along the East Coast. They are located in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. The Maryland, A Choice Nanny® is owned and operated by and , a mother and daughter duo.

The Maryland A Choice Nanny® office services Central Maryland. The most common areas serviced are: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, parts of Montgomery and Prince Georges counties. We also serve Baltimore City.
