A Choice Nanny ® was founded in 1983 by a working mother, Jackie Clark, who saw the need for quality childcare. A Choice Nanny ® was a national franchise. In June of 1998, the Franchisees bought out the Franchisor. A Choice Nanny ® then became a holding company. Now each office is an independently owned and operated nanny placement service. Our office, the originating office, is still located in Columbia, Maryland. A Choice Nanny ® is the oldest, most established nanny referral service in the area. We have been providing quality in home childcare referrals for over 30 years.

A Choice Nanny ® has offices along the East Coast. They are located in Florida, Maryland, and New Jersey. The Maryland, A Choice Nanny ® is owned and operated by and , a mother and daughter duo.

The Maryland A Choice Nanny ® office services Central Maryland. The most common areas serviced are: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, parts of Montgomery and Prince Georges counties. We also serve Baltimore City.
